My February 2019 Goals Review

As today marks the beginning of March, it is time for me to review all the goals that I set earlier this year in my article: ”My 2019 New Year Resolutions’‘.

Since last month’s report comprised a little bit of February even though it was January, I will review the progress that I’ve made towards my goals from February 14th to February 28th.

I haven’t had entirely one month to make progress but I wanted to readjust my calendar so that from now on, I can review my goals at the beginning of each month.

How much progress did I make in that 15-day period? Let’s check it out:

1 – I will tremendously and easily improve my japanese vocabulary by learning at least 10.000 words by December 31st 2019.

10.000 words/year is about 30 words/day, which means about 900 words a month. However, as previously mentionned, only 15 days have gone by since my last report. As such, I will only make sure that I did learn 30 words/day for 15 days, which is 450 words.

RESULT: For the month of February, I did learn my 450 words on japanese which makes me on track with my goals!

I’m so proud of this one. It’s not always easy to follow the plan each and every day but I’m glad I followed through!

2 – I will greatly improve my japanese grammar by going through the entire ”A Dictionnary of … Japanese Grammar” series, which consists of 3 huge dictionnaries going from basic to advanced grammar by December 31st 2019.

RESULT: I haven’t started working on that goal yet. I will probably start next month or so.

3 – ‘I will provide massive value and positively transform people’s lives by publishing at least 3 articles a week on my blog by December 31st 2019.”

As of now, I’m publishing 3 articles a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

RESULT: I’ve been consistent with that goal, and published a total of 6 articles in 15 days.

Here are the articles that I’ve published:

  • ”27 Toxic People Traits: Are The People You Love Toxic?”
  • ”Alcohol Ruins Your Sleep: What Studies Have Shown”
  • ”Who Do You Want To Be: 4 Ways To Find Out”
  • ”17 Limiting Beliefs Examples That Are Making You Suffer And How To Change Them”
  • ”How To Sleep Better: Improve Your Sleep Quality Instantly”
  • ”Finding Inner Happiness: The #1 Way To Be Happy”

As mentionned last time, I changed my initial goal which was to post every single day as it let me little to no time to study for my own personal growth which was making things incredibly difficult.

This publishing rate suits me better and I don’t plan on changing it at the moment.

4 – I will easily complete the 100 day challenge at least once by December 31st 2019.

RESULT: The challenge is still in progress, but I’m definitely on track with this one. Last month, I had trouble being consistent with it every day but I got back on track.

5 – I will happily read at least 12 books to improve myself and provide more valuable content on my website by December 31st 2018.

RESULT: I didn’t read any book for February. I’m not on track with this goal.

In fact, I started reading Tony Robbin’s great book ”Awaken The Giant Within” but it’s a quite long book.

6 – I will easily perform a morning ritual every morning which will allow me to be at my best every single day by December 31st 2018

RESULT: I’m on track with this goal.

7 – I will easily and happily donate at least $500 to help the foundation of free-of-cost Schools for underprivileged children by December 31st 2019.

RESULT: I haven’t started working on that goal yet.

8 – I will easily have at least 5000 visitors coming on my blog every month (166 visitors a day) by December 31st 2019.

I have no control over the result, so there is no way I can ”be on track” or ”off-track” with this one. However, I do have influence which is about regularly publishing articles on my blog and improving my Search Engine Optimization.

This goal turns out to be more difficult than I thought.

RESULT: In progress

9 – I will easily finish up writing one big chapter of my novel by December 31st 2019

RESULT: I haven’t started working on that goal yet.

10 – I will easily optimize my sleep enough so that I won’t wake up more than 2 times each night by December 31st 2019.

I’m making really small progress toward this goal. I’ve been implementing a lot of stuff to improve my sleep lately but it seems that my sleep is quite chaotic. I’m starting to wonder if my health itself doesn’t play a role in this. Further research and experimentation needed.

RESULT: In progress

11 – I will easily Guest Post at least 3 times on ProjectLifeMastery.com, providing my most powerful and life-changing information by December 31st 2019.

RESULT: I haven’t started working on that goal yet. I will start during March.

12 – I will easily write at least one sentence every single day in japanese by December 31st 2019.

I’ve been writing a lot in japanese lately (too much?), and on second thought, I may remove that goal from my list of goals. I’d rather focus on other areas of my life instead of focusing too much on japanese although it’s very important to me.

That’s the progress I’ve made last month! From now on, I’ll have full months to take action and move closer towards my goals.
