2019 has begun ! I can already assert that it’s going to be a great year for me.
I decided that I would share my goals with you this year as I know it will make a tremendous difference in my life. Indeed, putting my goals out there on my blog for all my readers to see it will force me to make things happen. This will be a great way for me to be accountable to you for each goal that I set.
It would be fairly easy to tell myself ”Yes, I’m going to do this and that in 2019”. However, it would be even easier to give up without anyone knowing. Given that now everyone will know about my goals, I’ll have no choice but to achieve them.
Without further ado, let’s get started with the list of my 2019 new year resolutions :
1 – I will tremendously and easily improve my japanese vocabulary by learning at least 10.000 words by December 31st 2019.
I realized that I was lacking vocabulary regarding my japanese level. That’s why I want to spend most of my time this year to learn not less than 10.000 words.
2 – I will greatly improve my japanese grammar by going through the entire ”A Dictionnary of … Japanese Grammar” series, which consists of 3 huge dictionnaries going from basic to advanced grammar by December 31st 2019.
In the same way, I need to improve my grammar. I will go through this series to get better at speaking grammatically correct japanese. My object being that I want to finish those by the end of the year.
3 – I will provide massive value and positively transform people’s lives by publishing at least one article on my blog every single day by December 31st 2019.
I figured that my blog wouldn’t grow unless I put in more effort. That’s why I decided to work ten times harder to reach as many people as possible. What’s great about this pace is that it will force me to keep up with the learning. If I don’t keep learning, then I won’t be able to provide new content. In a sense, it’s a way for me to constantly remind myself of the great value of learning.
February 2019 EDIT: I’ve decided to change this goal into ”I will provide massive value and positively transform people’s lives by publishing at least 3 articles a week on my blog by December 31st 2019.” The reason I’m making this change is because I’ve come to realize that writing a ton of content isn’t what’s going to make my blog grow: I, not only need to put high-quality content on my blog on a regular basis, but I also have to make sure that people can find my articles and this is a process that takes some time.
4 – I will easily complete the 100 day challenge at least once by December 31st 2019.
I already have the certainty that I will be able to achieve most of my goals. However, putting myself in an environment in which I have to keep track of my goals will undoubtedly help me achieve them faster.
5 – I will happily read at least 12 books to improve myself and provide more valuable content on my website by December 31st 2018.
Reading is in my opinion a valuable source of learning. I would like to read more, but I also need to spend time learning through courses.
6 – I will easily perform a morning ritual every morning which will allow me to be at my best every single day by December 31st 2018
How you start the day is how you end the day. I found a tremendous difference as to how I feel when I do or don’t do my morning ritual.
7 – I will easily and happily donate at least $500 to help the foundation of free-of-cost Schools for underprivileged children by December 31st 2019.
Giving is living. I would like to give as much as I can to people who need it. Plus, I would like to give people the same opportunity I have to impact the world in the best way possible. Depending on the growth of my income, I might give more than that. Anyway, I will constantly increase that amount as I make more money.
8 – I will easily have at least 5000 visitors coming on my blog every month (166 visitors a day) by December 31st 2019.
It’s hard for me to adjust on this one. I don’t know if it’s realistic or not since I don’t have any other experience blogging. I’m pretty confident I can make this happen, but I don’t have any track record I can rely on to set a smart goal.
9 – I will easily finish up writing one big chapter of my novel by December 31st 2019
This is more complicated than just a chapter of 300 sentences. I have to finish up the whole story and draw the caracters before I can start writing thousands of sentences. It has nothing to do with my business, but it’s important to me as writing compelling stories will be a way for me to impact people as well in the future, so I need to get better at it.
10 – I will easily optimize my sleep enough so that I won’t wake up more than 2 times each night by December 31st 2019.
I currently wake up between 4 and 8 times each night which greatly affects the quality of my sleep. I already started applying some techniques, which already made a difference. However, I need to work more on improving my sleep.
11 – I will easily Guest Post at least 3 times on ProjectLifeMastery.com, providing my most powerful and life-changing information by December 31st 2019.
Guest Posting will be a way for both driving trafic to my website, and show my appreciation to my mentor Stefan James who made a huge impact on my life.
12 – I will easily write at least one sentence every single day in japanese by December 31st 2019.
Practice makes perfect. That’s why I need to make mistakes to perfect my japanese.
That’s it for my 2019 goals !
Now that I’ve shared them with you, there’s no turning back. In order to take over the island, you must first burn your boats : it’s precisely what I’m doing here. I can’t go back, the only way forward is to take massive action to make these dreams a reality ! This was my commitment to you guys, of everything I plan to achieve this year!
Let’s get to work, now!
